Triton International Limited Announces Public Offering of Common Shares

HAMILTON, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep. 5, 2017-- Triton International Limited(NYSE:TRTN) (the “Company” or “Triton”) today announced the commencement of a public offering of $200,000,000 of the Company’s common shares, including $175,000,000 of common shares to be sold by the Company and $25,000,000 of common shares to be sold by certain affiliates of Warburg Pincus LLC (the “Selling Shareholders”). The underwriters have been granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional $26,250,000 and $3,750,000 of common shares from the Company and the Selling Shareholders, respectively. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for general corporate purposes, including the purchase of containers. The Company will not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares to be offered by the Selling Shareholders.
